IoT Platform

IoT platform managers IoT devices. Hongtu provides an integration platform for IoT devices, which allows developers to easily connect and manage IoT devices from different platforms and manufacturers.

To work with your IoT devices, firstly you should create Product & Device on the IoT platform that Hongtu supports.

After that, you can simply drag your device around the canvas, connect it to some Hongtu nodes that can interact with your device. For example, some nodes can send commands to your device, and some nodes can receive data from your device.

When you are comfortable with your flow, you can click on the Run button to test your flow. Then Publish it in Production mode with one click.

Choose Platform

On the left panel, select IoT, choose the target platform from the drop-down list:

Provide Platform Access Information

After platform is selected, click Setting button to enter platform information (note that each platform might require different information):

Drag Device (or Product) into Canvas:

Check out the Icon

The Device or Product node has a platform icon on the top-left corner, which tells where they are from.

Now, we can build our flow for these devices from different platforms in a unified way.
